This was the third book in the Billionaire Boys Club series and it was just as wonderful as the preceding books. I can totally see why these men were all friends in college and formed a secret society. They all have over the top personalities. Winners in their business world and strong personalities.
This book was about Reese Durham. He was considered the playboy of the group Since he is introduced at the beginning in the hot tub with a socialite, it made sense. That is how Audrey Petty first stumbled upon Reese after reaching Cade Archer’s cabin with her twin sister. Audrey and Daphne Petty had expected to be alone at the cabin with Cade to help Daphne detox and get a hold of her addictions. We met Daphne in the last book when she wrecked Hunter and Gretchen’s party.
Audrey and Reese are not getting along at first because Reese suspects that she has a crush on Cade. He finds himself drawn to her, because he senses her fiery personality right below the surface. He hilariously draws her out of her comfort zone and she lights up when he succeeds. Those make some great scenes. She is very fiery.
There are so many fun aspects to this story. They both are at odds with what they feel and that keeps causing rifts in their fling. There are also some deeper subjects that are covered in this book in a compassionate and emotional way. It is an excellent book. This is a series that keeps getting better each book.
