The six year old and I read several books that I obtained from Amazon. Of all the books that we read together, these two were the big winners of the week.
This book was a wonderful book to read along with a little child. The pictures were cute and on target with the story. Meagan was a little girl that wanted a pet. she would do anything to get a pet, even begging for it and assuring her father that she would take care of it.
When her wish came true, she found that the little kitty was not perfect and she wasn’t sure that she wanted it any more. Her dad came to the rescue and helped Meagan and the kitty make peace. It is a good lesson on patience.
The words were simple enough that the six year old was able to read most with only a small amount of help. She liked the story and understood the moral of the story. It was a good read for her.
This book was great because it was a way to impress in a humorous manner the importance of keeping their room clean. The six year old enjoyed the book and was very excited to find that when you purchase the eBook you gain access to a free video book.
With funny voices and active pictures it brought the book to life. So she got to hear the same story twice. I personally think she liked my higher pitched voice, but loved the inflection the narrator brought to the video. It was an enjoyable book in both instances.
The bunnies were really cute in the book and in the video. It was obvious to both of us that the little bunnies wanted to do the right thing.
