Book Review: Proposals and Poison by Rachelle J. Christensen

Proposals and PoisonProposals and Poison by Rachelle J. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Proposals and Poison is book 3 in the Wedding Planner Mysteries. This is another fun episode of Adri Pyper’s life as a wedding planner. Adri the woman that believes in Happy ever afters and who also just happens to be sort of dating a divorce lawyer. Luke the divorce lawyer, Tony, the policeman, and Lorea, her assistant are all involved in this book.

The story has a murder of a totally unexpected person. Everyone and their brother have a theory about who killed the young woman. The gossips are going wild with rumors of who is inheriting a fortune from the untimely death of Adri’s friend. Adri as usual, is asked by Tony and Luke to stay out of this investigation as she keeps finding herself involved with murderers, criminals and near brushes with death.

Of course Adri can’t help but finding herself in the middle of the danger. This time there are some totally unexpected dangers for others. In this book, there is an over abundance of suspects, and that list keeps growing. Who would imagine so many devious and secretive things were going on in one person’s life. It sure keeps you guessing.

All the while, is love brewing? I have been following Luke and Adri for three books and I certainly am pulling for them to find a special place for each other in their hearts.

There are some great and crazy wedding ideas complete with kids and dogs. Rachelle always adds craft ideas and recipes in her book, which makes it even more fun to read. Proposals and Poison is really a fun book to read. As always Rachelle J. Christensen makes reading about a crime a fun event. Wonderful cast of characters. I hope there are more in store for these guys. I would love to read more about them all.

Proposals and Poison in addition to the other books in the series, Veils and Vengeance, and Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things, are all available in Paperback, Kindle and KindleUnlimited through Amazon
