Personal Invitation to #ComedyBookWeek

humor_book

We only have 3 days  until the first Annual event known as #ComedyBookWeek goes live on July 16, 2016.

60 humorous authors with 70 books are participating. Many of the books will be discounted or free during the week of 16-23 July, so don’t miss your chance to discover a fresh, new, funny book and perhaps a favorite new author.

How many times do we want a little comedy to read. I know I do. Sometimes I get bogged down in the Thrillers and Suspense books that I just found a love for and want a little light humor. A lot of humor is even better.

Ana Spoke has secured at least 60  authors to offer books at a discount or even free. I love a free book! I plan on finding new authors to read during this week of planned events.

There are blog reviews scheduled for these comedy books. I will have three that week posted. I can’t wait to get those out there so you can what I thought of these three comedies.  One is a brand new book that will be released during #ComedyBookWeek. I will be posting that one on the 17th.

Our very own sweet blogger, C the Happy Meerkat will be providing five reviews that week. I can not wait to see what all she has read and what her take was on them. I know it is going to be excellent reviews, because she is a wonderful reviewer. She is always honest and fair in her writing.

Not only reviews, but author interviews and guest posts will be happening all over the blogosphere.  Look for the tag #ComedyBookWeek and be prepared for humor. Al Lane  will be hosting a series of interviews on her website with Steve Vernon, Freya of Freya Writes, Jenny Green, and Geoff Le Pard.

Many of the Q&A’s will be on Facebook. July 19th there is a live interview with Frankie Bow.  Jackson Lear‘s Facebook  interview will be the 21st. Then on the 23rd, we have this amazing day of four different author interviews with Ana Spoke, Steve Vernon, Karen Tomsovic and Rose Schmidt all taking place on  the Wayward Swan’s Facebook page.  Q&A

There will be authors from all over the world participating.  This is a wonderful time to check out British humour, Australian humour, Canadian humour and American humor. I am so excited about it being this close.

I really hope you support this week long event and meet some new authors and find some amazing comedy books that will make you laugh and maybe even fall in love with a few characters.  There are some funny ones in just the books I read. But I am not giving away too much right  now.

If you wouldn’t mind, I would ask that you maybe consider tweeting this post so that other people will find out about this event and join in the fun.

Have fun laughing next week and watch for more posts about the books and other links to great comedy book reviews and interviews.
