Mr. Waldorf Travels to the Great State of Texas by Beth Ann Stifflemire
My Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
My Review:
Not only did I love it, but the finicky six-year-old loved it as well. We read it together and she was totally engaged in the search for Mr. Waldorf’s glasses. Each page interested her with its colorful illustrations. The learning about the various activities that take place in texas was enjoyable to us both. The Alamo, reading about the rodeo and seeing the oil derricks in action was a high point.
She and I are both taken with the Labrador named Mr. Waldorf. He is so adorable, he is also a little careless with his glasses. It makes her laugh when she finds the glasses while at each destination.
This is the second book we have read and as I have been provided all four by Waldorf Publishing, we will be reading them soon.
A special thank you to Waldorf Publishing and to NetGalley for a copy of The Spectacular World of Mr. Waldorf, in exchange for our honest review.
My Recommendation:
This book is more than just a children’s read along book, it teaches about the interesting and special things in each state. This travel book really is a great teaching tool. I look forward to reading about China and Russia next. I have recommended this to my own children to share with their little ones.
