My Review:

If you like stories that follow a group of ne’er do wells as they skate and ooze through life not dealing with the issues that plague normal hard working folks then you will like this book. Until about the second chapter when you realize that these seemingly unaffected drug dealers have as much on their plates as the next guy.

When an o!d friend from high school offers this group an opportunity that they just refuse to walk away from all hell breaks loose. Good writing brings you right into the group and suddenly they do matter. You want them to escape their situations

The next few hundred pages are a nonstop action filled suspenseful time as they try to survive the results of their almost forced decisions.  With characters that are equally a turnoff and intriguing, this book is like riding in a fast car on a one lane mountain road.

As this is my first book of Miriam Averna. I did not know what to expect. Now I know I want to read more with her rich characters and believable plot. It is obvious to me that Averna is going to be a natural in the thriller genre.

I am reading and reviewing this book for Mystery Thriller Week The week that brings together authors, bloggers, and fans annually.
