My Review:
Maggie McDonald is a modern mother of two teenage boys and a loving wife to Max. She is also a professional organizer and new amateur sleuth. She just stumbles into these deadly scenes and takes it from there. It is another fun read from Mary Feliz. Another fantastic read during Mystery Thriller Week.
If you love a little more than cozy with your mystery this is a lovely series to consider. Maggie is a modern mom with a humorous way fo dealing with her family. Quite different from other books and a really nice change.
I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed An Address to Die For. I liked how the murders are solved through intellect and as host of professionals that she now considers friends. This story brought in new characters that added to the storyline nicely. The new characters gave a sense of uncertainty to the story. It was a nice blend of modern. Mystery and traditional who dun it. I was provided a copy from the publishers through NetGalley for the purpose of providing an honest review.
Mary Felix has a really pleasant writing style with realistic characters that are not cookie cutter or vanilla The variety of characters have real emotions a and real ways of communicating. There are subplots and additional issues and it makes for one fantastic read.
