New Release: Book Review: Running Back to Him by Evelyn Rosado

Running Back To HimRunning Back To Him by Evelyn Rosado
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just finished this new release and I have to say what a great read. Magnolia Graham, Mags as she likes to be called has just been dumped by her boyfriend. That is making her crazy. She never saw it coming and she is feeling broken. Being dumped by the popular boy also gets her removed from the most popular list of friends and suddenly her life seems meaningless. So she goes back to her old table at lunch and back to her old friend, Justine and back to her life as an invisible person. It is at lunch that she and her old BFF, Justine, make a plan that involves a fake romance.

They pick Kellen who just happens to be her old childhood friend, and the current star player of the football team, as the fake boyfriend. If they play things right then it will make her look like she is not a loser that has just been dumped. The plan should be perfect, after all he just got dumped too.

The story is fun, yet tender. I loved Mags and I loved Kellen even that time that he behaved like a jerk. Every fake relationship has its ups and downs, doesn’t it? What about when the fake boyfriend, Kellen happens to be the one that Magnolia really has been crushing on for years?

The story was so alive with emotion and how a young girl feels when her heart is in turmoil. There is more to Mags than just this recent upheaval. She has suffered more this last year than one person should. So the story sheds light on her past as well as her present situation. There is also more to Kellen than just his football status.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. I was so glad that I was fortunate enough to read this. It is a book that enriched my life. This book has layers of emotion. There is more to the story than just a romance gone wrong. There are real life problems, pain and heartbreak. Evelyn Rosado really knows how to express a young person’s heart.

I really liked this book and highly recommend it. It has the best and well rounded characters. Characters that are both quirky and adorable. This book proves not everything is as simple or as golden as one might believe about another persons life.

The new release is now available through KindleUnlimited and as a Kindle Edition on Amazon

Book Review: Storm by Evelyn Rosado

Storm (The Complete Series)Storm by Evelyn Rosado
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Storm is one emotional roller coaster of a ride. Brynn is a freshman in college and she finds herself in one overwhelming situation. Trying drugs for the first time at a party she finds that things are not simple and innocent any longer.
Things get out of hand and Brynn is terrified. Then Chase, a total stranger to her, shows up.

Chase rescued her and she felt an immediate bond with him. She was drawn to his stunning green eyes and perfect timing. The book is well written and is hot. The sex is hot and the characters are confused and driven.

Brynn and Chase find that they are totally drawn to each other and even though Brynn makes some really bad decisions Chase is there to help her.

Chase and Brynn have both had a tough time in their life and this keeps coming up in their relationship. The dynamic between the two is so powerful that it is pretty overwhelming for them both. Brynn meets up with an old friend from school and tries to move ahead without Chase, but she keeps getting drawn back to him. This is just as hard on Chase as it is Brynn.

Brynn has to make some decisions that are very hard at the time. The writing in this book is very powerful and keeps you riveted. You need to know what is going to happen next. You want them to find happiness, but they seem destined to only find heartache. It is a very emotional read. I really felt for the characters, their good and bad feelings were very real to me.

This book began as a seven part series and is a new release as one complete book containing all seven parts.

I thought it was a great book and was glad that I was given a copy to read in exchange for an honest review.
