My book, The Path of the Child has been published and I would like to have some people read and review it for me. I have copies available starting tomorrow on Amazon.com for Free. If you can’t wait until tomorrow, then I can send a copy through email. This will allow me to have comments on Amazon and / or Goodreads.com. This sure would be a great deal for me. All I need to know is your email address and what kind of reader you use. I have it available in Mobi, Epub and PDF version. I can’t tell you how much I would appreciate your time.
Let me tell you a little about the book. The main character is Melanie and she has had a solitary lonely life. She is offered friendship by a boy in her class and he opens many doors for her. There is a mystery about her family and she and Robert set off on a quest for answers.
I call The Path of the Child a work of fiction, but I have had readers call it a feel good coming of age story and it has also been called a YA book. I leave it to you to categorize it for yourself. My email address is vicgoodwin@gmail.com if you want to send me an email and not announce your email address on my blog.
Again, thank you for your consideration on this. I hope you enjoy the free book and will take time to review it for me. It doesn’t take much to post a review, just a few words about how you felt about the book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book had me laughing all the way through. The middle aged lady Valerie was so off the wall funny. Even when she was hiding from the police because they believed she had stabbed her boss, she was hilarious.
Her friends Julie and Rose added to the comedy. There were scenes that had me laughing out loud while reading. I even read a few scenes out loud to my daughter to explain why I was cackling.
There is a murder and Val is accused of the crime. She found herself in a locked apartment with the dead body after attending the office Christmas party and getting plastered. She has no memory of the evening after a few drinks. There is no one to give her an alibi so she and her friends are forced to look for the killer themselves.
There are disguises that you would not believe given to her so that she can escape the notice of the police. If you want a funny read that has some pretty decent mystery solving involved, then this book is for you.
The Path of the Child is a free E book that is now available through Amazon Prime and KindleUnlimited. The story is about seventeen year old Melanie Easton. Melanie has been raised by her mother, kept away from all other family. After a Robert, young man from school approaches and befriends her she sets out on a journey to discover the family she has never known. Join her in the journey that could possibly change her life. I hope you enjoy the characters as much as I did.
Please be kind enough to leave a review on Amazon so that others can find this book. Readers opinions and reviews are the best way for me to get this book to other readers. The Path of the Child is also available in print on Amazon.
Thank you!
