A-Z PE Challenge Day 18 (R)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with a letter a day from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the rolicking letter R!

The Blog dejour is:

ReadandReview2016

Judith  has the cutest blog called Read and Review 2016 and it is a fun bright and pleasant blog.  She has only been blogging about 4 months  after taking part of the six book challenge. Now four months later she has reached her first 100 followers. I hope you will visit her, and make it one of your blogs to follow.

Judith is also a member of the Rosie’s Book Review Team. She writes interesting reviews and she mentions valuable information about the books such as in the book review of War and Peace.  During that review she writes:

If you are planning on reading War and Peace, it would also be quite handy if you were fluent in reading French, German and Russian, as there are numerous passages written in these languages, reflecting the education of Tolstoy and his target audience at the time.

I think that this will be an impressive blog as she grows in content and confidence.  I do think you will enjoy it.

She also has the love of books that I can appreciate. She loves hardback and paperback books and she loves the smell of a book.  Now that is the book lovers special ability, to sniff a book. She also loves tags and challenges, so give her a challenge.

Judith this is all about you! Enjoy your special letter day!

Here is a Quote from his blog explaining his motivation for this fun challenge.

” This is the people edition! So on the first day you find someone who’s screen name starts with A and you check out their blog. The idea is that you read through some of their posts, introduce yourself and give them some feedback. Then, write your post of the day and publish it, describing who the person is and your experience finding and interacting with them, what you thought of their posts. What you came away with. I think it could be fun:)”

A-Z PE Challenge Day 16 (P)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with a letter a day from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the precious letter P!

The Blog dejour is:

Psychedelic Bay

I have been looking forward to sharing these two bloggers with everyone. They have a pretty new blog and they are so special that they got 1000 followers in one month!  I was curious as to how they did it. They have produced an eBook called  Unseen Blogging Tips for Absolute Quick Success on how to earn that many followers.

The two bloggers are Cezane and Michelle and they are so friendly and supportive of the other bloggers.

I enjoy when Michelle and Cezane write together. They have a very heartfelt look on life and it is a good read.  The way they equate the mind to a knife is quite interesting in the blog post called Mastering the Mind and Heart.

The site’s purpose is best described on their about me page,

We aim to inspire many to a better life style and spread smiles like the showers of rain at Debudscha! Driven by a writer and a fighter, you’ve found yourself at a site where every beat of your heart rhymes to the smile on your face derived from the magic of words.

Welcome To Psychedelic Bay – Home to a Writer and a Fighter.

Enjoy your special letter day today. Cezane and Michelle.  Today is all about you both!

A-Z PE Challenge Day 14 (N)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with a letter a day from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the noble letter N!

The Blog dejour is:

NOTEABLEPAD

This is the day we get to meet the wonderful Fatima.  She is an avid reader, a book reviewer and a writer.  Now this month she is observing Ramadan, so she will not be posting as much, but if you get a chance, you should head over and check out her work. She has lovely reviews and I enjoy her writing.

She writes from her heart and I love that about her blog.  When I read her post That she calls  Muslims – The new Communists and spoke so eloquently about the “spectre of Islam”, I almost cried for the beauty and sadness that her words evoked. If you would like to read this touching post you may read it here.

Fatima is also lighthearted in her posts.  She has the most adorable penguin mug! I hope you will visit her blog and get to know her.  She is a jewel in the Blogosphere.

Fatima allowed us to meet her main character in her Work in Progress and she wrote this about her inspiration for her exciting character,

I love talking about Shahrazad, because she is everything I’m not. Her character is based on all the inspirational women in my life; my mother, my closest friends, women in my family and other women I look up to. In short,  she’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Enjoy your special letter day today. Fatima.  Today is all about you!

A-Z PE Challenge Day 13 (M)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with a letter a day from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the majestic letter M!

The Blog dejour is:

Coffee, Chocolate & Writing with Cats

With all those C’s you are probably wondering how this is a M page, well the creator of this blog is Millie Schmidt. She has the cutest blog on writing, writers block, cats and chocolate. Can it get any better?  Check it out and you will see that it is a great blog.

Millie comes from Australia and she takes the regular helpfulness to the next stage by incorporating her cat into the mix.  Want to see a great blog post? Then check out The nine stages of writing your novel – with cats.  It is amazing and amazingly cute.

It is obvious that she enjoys her coffee before she sits down to write as her blog is energetic and fun.  This is how she expresses herself on writing and being a published author.

By day I work as a WHS Officer, at night I dream about being a published author (and sometimes fit in writing too haha).

Enjoy your special letter day today. Millie Schmidt.  Today is all about you!

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with a letter a day from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the Limber letter L!

The Blog dejour is:

Lynn Thaler

This is a blog that covers “Random Life Thoughts” by Lynn Thaler.  Lynn writes articles that are time saving, money saving and just plain interesting. She also posts adorable pictures of her dog, Buddy, and her family.  I loved when she posted pictures from Ava Maria Grotto and shared information about Brother Joseph Zoetti.

This is one blog that I visit almost every day. Lynn is a prolific poster and her posts make me learn something new, or a new way to think about things.  I like that. I am a student of the world and this keeps me learning.

Not only does she write,Lynn is also an artist and her personal projects are alive with color. She is also very proficient with the camera and her photos are unique. Check out her concrete leaf photo.

As Lynn said on her about me post,

I blog, because I love to write.  I have always been fascinated by books and as a child I dreamed of becoming a writer.

Enjoy your special letter day today. Lynn Thaler.  Today is all about you!

A-Z PE Challenge Day 10 (J)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with the letter from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the jovial letter J!

The Blog dejour is:

J. C. Cauthon, Author

J.C. has a wonderful blog that tells the steps and struggles of being an author.  She shares her progress on works in progress as well as book reviews of books that she is reading.  She writes polished and very honest reviews.

Each month she shares her previous month’s words count and explains about her world building and publishing processes. J.C. is also very personable and friendly with her followers. She visits their blogs and offers comments and encouragement.

She also lives on a farm in North Carolina and I enjoy when she shares about her 31 or so cats and kittens.  How impressive that they each have a name, and she remembers them.

J.C. Cauthon has several books available on Amazon. She is really a prolific writer, with usually several books in the works at any given time. I think visiting her blog will be an enjoyable visit.

She is also the author of the Daily Prompt 2016 that I use so often. Her prompts are fun and they spark my imagination so well

A-Z PE Challenge Day 7 (G)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with the letter from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the Grandiose letter G!

The Blog dejour is:

20 day world  Grace Anne’s “world of stories that I’ve read and stories that I write.”

Grace Anne is the alter ego of the blogger that writes the 20 Day World.  She is an avid reader, a self taught pencil artist, and a writer of poems and prose. Her blog is interesting to read and when not writing on her own blog, she is commenting and encouraging other bloggers.  Grace Anne is really a wonderfully friendly and kind blogger.

Grace Anne has almost 250 followers and I am sure she would welcome more.  Her blog is not quite a year old and I can’t wait to see how it progresses as she continues with her writing, reviews, and art work. She writes reviews in chronological order and I find that fascinating. When she began her blog in August, she stated the following.

I’ve started reading books quite late in my life, late teens to be precise, now in my early 20s, by now the world has had so many book revolutions happening that it’s easy to get way in over your head about what to read and what not to, what do you like, the cheesy romances or classics, modern history or war oriented, fiction or short stories.

Enjoy your special letter day today Grace Anne . Today is all about celebrating you!

A-Z PE Challenge Day 6 (F)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with the letter from A to Z.

Today we are celebrating the fascinating letter F!

The Blog dejour is:

Following the Golden Quill

The blogger behind Following the Golden Quill  is Vik Tory Arch.  This blog keeps me returning because it is so eclectic. There is one thing that will draw me in and that is, being eclectic.

Vik uses all types of prompts for her writing. Photo prompts, daily prompts as well as challenges.  I enjoy the quote page. It is filled with lovely quotes that pick me up.  Now if that wasn’t enough to interest you, there are craft ideas that are adorable.

This is your one stop shop for bloggers. I really applaud Vik for the work involved in The Golden Quill.  You should take a look an even follow this blogger.  Amazing writing, book reviews, and baking are in store for you here.

Vik has been nominated for many awards. Liebster and the Very Inspiring Blogger Award just to name a couple.

As mentioned, there are many types of writing shown on the blog. I found this story to be quite enjoyable. I love this time of year.  The five line story captured it perfectly.

The autumn leaves crunched and broke, when Regina walked on them.
She inhaled fresh chilly air, filled with smoke and spices.
Somewhere deeper in the forest a crow called.
She twirled on the fallen leaves.
“The autumn is finally here.”

Enjoy your special letter day today. Vik Tory Arch . Today is all about you!

A-Z PE Challenge Day 5 (E)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with the letter  A going  all the way to  Z.

Today we are celebrating the Exciting letter E!

The Blog dejour is:

Eye-Dancers

On this official 5th day we are going to find out about the website named Eye-Dancers. The blog is all about the book, which is a Young Adult Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel. That blog is centered on the book.  The name of the blog comes from the eBook and Paperback novel, Eye-Dancers. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, and Kobo

51pljjwQmaL._SX373_BO1,204,203,200_

Looks good, huh?  I like the cover. Today we are going to find out more about the  man behind the story. Please meet the  author, Michael S. Fedison. He likes to be called Mike, so from this point on, we will call him Mike. The great thing about Mike is that he is doing that very difficult task of writing a sequel right now.  Continuing the story of the 4 main characters in Eye-Dancers.

The premise of the story sounds very interesting and promotes the idea of believing in possibilities, and friendship.

But let’s get to know more about the man behind the books.  As stated, his name is Mike and his desire to write, and write well comes through so strongly in his blog. He also has a fun way of expressing his worries, doubts, and concerns over starting a new writing venture.  All writers have faced those fears and concerns. When he faces them he finds a sit-com from the fifties, or a recent dream, or even the morning greeting from a former co-worker to bring the emotions to light and address them. It is a real pleasure to read his bog entries.  It is enlighten in my own journey as a writer. It is healthy to see his beautifully sculpted blog entries that also help me over my insecurities.

Take a look at his blog, I hope you can find the little jewels like I do. Here is one example:

Even then, as a junior high student, I knew that, for me, writing was akin to breathing.  I couldn’t imagine a life without it.  But most of my stories as a kid were adventures, space explorations, without much depth or emotion.  I sensed I was arriving at a crossroads.  The way I felt lying there, the thoughts swirling in my head, the ideas and motivations abounding, I wanted so much to be able to convey it all in a story, through the power of the written word.

Enjoy your special letter day today.  Mike @Eye-Dancers . Today is all about you!

For those that may have noticed my little faux paux yesterday, I apologize. I missed that I did 2( D )days. That’s what happens when you know too many amazing D blogs. I will go with that excuse and not mention my sick dog, Arrow, or my “mental health” day yesterday.midis_crazy1

A-Z PE Challenge Day 3 (C)

This challenge is to post a different blog daily starting with the letter  A  all the way to  Z.

Today we are celebrating the curvy letter C!

This means we take a trip to the great state of Ohio.ohiostateoldredbrick

Ohio is where we will meet and get to know more about Amanda. The first thing to know is that Amanda has a really wonderful blog called:

Cover2CoverMom

Her blog’s motto is “Escaping the grind of everyday life, one book at a time.

Amanda is a 29 year old who is married to her high school sweetheart and is the mother of two. She stays at home with her children and she stays really busy with sports, fitness, teaching her children, cooking, and chauffeur.
She lists even more jobs in her about me section.

Amanda says:

“To her, books are a way to escape the grind of day to day life.  She loves to get swept away in a book that transports her to another time and place.  Amanda’s reading comfort zones are historical fiction and contemporary fiction, however she is actively trying to branch out and expand her literary horizons”

Amanda also does a variety of book reviews. She writes her reviews in many different genre. When I go to her blog I am always impressed with her viewpoint and her lay out. She makes her reviews look so nice and professional. Her reviews always include the synopsis as well as her own thoughts on the book. She also does ARC reviews.

Amanda is happy to share her weekly wrap up and hauls with her followers. The entire blog is interesting and easy to navigate. She also is willing to do Book Tags and has won several awards for her blog. It is just a creative place to visit.

This would be the perfect time to hop over and meet her. She is quick to respond to comments and to visit my page when I post something new.

Amanda @ Cover2CoverMom this is all about you. Enjoy your special letter day!
