New Feature on Sojourner McConnell’s blog, The Path of the Writer

New Feature on The Path of the Writer with Sojourner McConnell with guest authors and writers weekly Friday's Fun and Family-friendly Guest Posts

This Friday, March 31, 2017, begins a new tradition on Sojourner’s author page. We reached out to authors, writers, bloggers and people with something uplifting, fun, or endearing, to share in what we are calling, Friday’s Fun and Family-Friendly Guest Posts.

This will happen each Friday as long as we have participation. I am excited to say, there are already several scheduled posts lined up and are looking forward to this new venture.  If you have uplifting, fun, stories, artwork, videos, or poetry, then I ask you to consider sharing your posts on this blog where I will make sure that black links are in place allowing for you to have potential visitors on your blog and author pages.

I hope you will join the fun and watch writers from across various genres bring a little humor, hope, fun, and happiness to the world.  If you have a post or want more information on this, just drop me a line in email or in the comments below.

Friday morning we have cj petterson with a lovely story called “Romance at the Do Drop In” that I believe everyone will enjoy. I hope you will join us there.

New Year New Exciting Opportunities

2017

Happy New Year!

Sure, I am a few days late. I have been traveling and not able to post new posts. I had some special blog posts for you over the holiday by some special MTW authors and I hope you found some new people to read and follow. I have chosen some amazing authors to post guest articles so I hope you enjoy seeing them this month.  You have already heard from Geoffrey Monmouth a new author from Wales, John Nicholl, and you will be hearing more from authors like Steven Perkins, Jack Kregas, a few women mystery writers that I can’t name just yet and a couple of extra fun surprises. January should be a fun month.

Everyone that knows me, knows by now, that I am super excited to be involved with Mystery Thriller Week  You may not, however, know that I am reviewing almost 40 books for the event. That is nowhere near the number Benjamin Thomas is reading.  That means I will be holding on to my reviews on the mystery and thriller books until February 12th – 22nd.  With the books I have garnered to read, I can tell you I am finding some wonderful writers that really love to bring the thrills, chills, and mysteries to life. I have cozies, psychological thrillers, serial killers, whodunits, amateur detectives, surly detectives, environmental thrillers, anthologies, romantic suspense, and good old FBI with terrorists ready to go, raring to be read, and itching to be reviewed. I have some tucked away, a few scheduled, one or two in the reading process and the rest are lined up one after another to be next on my list. But do not fear, I will get them all finished before the scheduled date.gears

With that being said, I assure you, I will be posting other types of book reviews this month and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy sharing my joy of books. I have some amazing children’s books, a romance or two and some interesting non-fiction to share.  Plus a few for NetGalley and Blogging for Books. It should be a fun month of reading.

One of the best parts of being on the events team of MTW is organizing and bringing to light some new best-selling indie authors, as well as best-selling traditional authors, along with brand new authors, and seeing them work so well together. It is wonderful to see the mentoring, the exchange of ideas and the social interaction of all these like-minded, yet totally unique individuals.

The best announcement I can make is that if you dash up to the website super-fanwww.mysterythrillerweek.com you can join in as a super fan and be included on all this interaction. You will be given front row seats to all the events in the comfort of your own home.  You will also be given a free book by one of our best-selling authors. This offer is good until January 9th.

To be totally frank with you, we can’t wait to welcome you into the MTW family. So happy 2017, the year of the Mystery Thriller Week and you.
