The Book Blurb:
A high-flying career woman with no time for romance finds herself at a loose end for her company’s annual marketing convention. Partners are encouraged, and Nadine Stefano has every intention of fitting the image she believes her boss wants.
At her sister’s recent bachelorette party Nadine finds herself irresistibly drawn to Ethan, one of the male strippers.
A single woman, desperate to present the image of being in a settled and happy relationship, she hires Ethan to act as her pretend boyfriend.
Not only is he five years younger, but he is also sexy as sin.
Theirs is a strong attraction, and the over-worked and uptight Nadine soon finds herself falling for the easy-going young man.
But company politics and nasty colleagues stand in their way.
Will they follow their hearts, despite their differences, or will Nadine dump Ethan in order to pursue her career goals?
A Lovely story
Ethan is a male stripper at a bachelorette party hosted by Nadine for her sister. While she hides out in the kitchen, she is unexpectedly interested in the man called Ethan. He doesn’t embarrass her, he simply acts as a gentleman and it turns her head. Nadine is a businesswoman and under a lot of pressure and stress. She is also competing for a promotion that she feels she deserves. Willing to put in the extra work while being considered for the position, she learns of a weekend event where she needs to have a significant other along with her. She and Ethan make a business agreement. They are going to pretend to be together for a weekend. It has many little twists and turns to keep it lively and exciting. There is some serious chemistry between the couple. The story is quick and fulfilling.
It is a cute story with bits of humor and sweet romance. There are some racy moments but not in a graphic way. I look forward to reading more about them as Lily Zante continues the series. If you enjoy a cute romance, then I can recommend this one for a quick read.
